Regulation |
The CC Humanities Award is given according to the following criteria.
Directly proposed by the committee (CC Humanities 'A'). Proposed by the web manager (CC Humanities Award). The award is the same irrespective of the type of nomination.
Projects wishing to be assessed by the Central Conference are required to have certain merits. The Committee is particularly interested in the following details:
subject within the humanities
name of the author/s, CV and/or web master
date of publication / updating
good and appropriate layout
The site should not have:
areas restricted by either password or payment
business-like content
unoriginal material
'Work in progress'
Relevant attributes valued positively by the CC Humanity Award Committee are:
discussion forum;
newsletter;
list of site reviews;
affiliation to CC;
and any new and original idea.
The contents should be correct, of a good research standard and eligible.
The CC Humanities Award is given to sites that demonstrate all the above requirements at a high level.
The judgement of the Committee may not be questioned. A rejected site should not be considered to be of low level or to have contents of a low quality; it may be resubmitted to the Committee three months after the first judgement, and should then include the code given in the first rejection.
Sites which are given the Award should use the logo of the CCHA and maintain the high standards for which they were originally distinguished. A member of the Committee is entitled to ask for verification of the maintenance of these standards.
